Pastoral Visit

A visit by the Bishop of Khartoum to Kosti, Damazin and Medani archdeaconries as from 6-26 December 2008

 The Diocesan Bishop of Khartoum, Rt. Revd. Ezekiel Kondo this year decided to celebrate Christmas of 2008 outside his See and be with his flock in one of the archdeaconries. The visit began on the 6th and ended on 26th December 2008.

Easter Celebration

 Easter Sunday 12^th  the celebration in Mayo was well attended. The attendance was about 6 thousand people.

Dedication

St Johns Haj Yousif was dedicated and opened on 24th May 2009

Ordination

Ordination of priests took place at All Saints Cathedral on 7th June. 66 pastors were ordained.

Confirmation

Also confirmation took place at St Philip May where by 135 candedates were confirmed.
